a model of care for border infants that can be replicated throughout
the state as an alternative to expensive and inappropriate hospital
settings.

a comprehensive volunteer program that serves as a nurturing agent
for the infants as well as a strong advocacy system for the children.

the awareness on the part of the public and the involved systems
of the problems associated with these infants and the need for specialized
approaches in the development of solutions.
·Assure
the medical and development needs of these infants ate met.
